Refund and Returns Policy
Shipping
All plants are shipped from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Orders are usually processed within 3–5 business days, and are shipped early in the week to help prevent weekend delays.
Due to federal plant health regulations related to the Japanese beetle quarantine in Nova Scotia, LeafPrint Creations currently ships live plants only within the following provinces:
- Nova Scotia
- New Brunswick
- Prince Edward Island
- Quebec
- Ontario
Orders placed from outside these provinces will be cancelled and refunded in full.
Each plant is carefully packaged to minimize stress and damage during transit. I take pride in preparing every order by hand to give your plant the best possible start in its new home.
Seasonal Shipping Adjustments
During periods of extreme cold or heat, temperature-regulating packs are automatically included in your order to help maintain a safe shipping environment.
This may result in a small seasonal adjustment to shipping and handling rates, typically between November–March and June–August.
Shipments may also be temporarily delayed if conditions are unsafe for live plants; in that case, you’ll be notified and your order will be shipped as soon as the weather allows.
You’ll receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. Please make sure someone is available to receive the package promptly after delivery, as plants can be sensitive to temperature changes if left outside.
Live Arrival Guarantee
I take great care to ensure your plant arrives healthy and ready to grow. While I can’t control what happens once the package is with the courier, I do guarantee that your plant will arrive alive and in good condition.
If your plant arrives damaged or appears to have not survived the journey, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery at leafprintcreations@gmail.com with:
- A clear photo of the plant in its original packaging
- A brief description of the issue
Depending on the situation, I may offer a replacement or store credit at my discretion. Refunds are not automatic but will always be considered in good faith.
Returns & Exchanges
Because I sell live plants, returns and exchanges are not accepted once the order has been shipped. This helps keep all plants healthy and prevents unnecessary stress on them.
If there’s any issue with your order, please reach out — I’ll always do my best to make it right.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If your package is delayed in transit, please contact me. I’ll help track it through the courier and work with you to find the best solution.
Unfortunately, I can’t replace or refund orders that are marked as “Delivered” by the courier.
Weather Policy
Extreme temperatures can be hard on plants. If unsafe weather conditions are expected along your shipping route, I may hold your order temporarily until it’s safe to send.
I’ll notify you if this happens, and your plant will ship as soon as conditions improve.
